Upon your arrival, our friendly staff will warmly greet you and assist with the check-in process. We strive to promptly guide you to an examination room as soon as one is available.
While we make every effort to maintain a timely schedule, unexpected delays may occur due to emergencies or extended care requirements for certain patients. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that the same level of dedication will be extended to your pet when needed.
In the days following the visit, one of our veterinary assistants will reach out to provide an update on your pet’s well-being. If you have any concerns, please feel free to share them so that we can bring them to the attention of the veterinarian

Hung Vu
Dr. Hung Vu grew up in Northern Virginia, earned his degree from the University of Virginia, and attended veterinary school at Virginia Tech. He has been part of the team since 2018 and currently lives in Virginia Beach.
His interests include preventive care, surgery, and behavior. As a Fear Free–certified veterinarian, he focuses on reducing stress for pets. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, watching sports, and taking long walks with his hound, Sammy.

We love this vet office so much. Dr. Vu and Dr. Britton have been incredible with both our dog and cat. Both of them have had quite a few medical issues this last year and every time we bring them here, they’re so well taken care of. They always take the time to explain what’s going on and I never feel rushed or confused. You can really tell they care.
And Christina is the absolute best. She is so gentle and sweet with them, and you can see how comfortable they are with her. It makes such a huge difference and she is clearly so good at her job!

I called there this morning as my vet for the past 30 years could not see me until next week. My dog had a UTI and was not doing well. Not only did they work me in they were unbelievably friendly, thorough and Very professional. For having a UTI my dog was the most relaxed I’ve ever seen her at the vet. Dr. Vu was excellent with my dog and explained everything thoroughly. Obviously, we have found a new home for our beloved dog when it comes to her healthcare. Both of my dogs are dog-wary, so taking them to the vet could be a stressful experience. However, Dr. Vu and the staff at Hilltop make them both as comfortable as possible. They accommodate their hesitancy and let us come in when there's a room ready and no other dogs in the waiting area. They love all over the dogs and make it a place my dogs aren't afraid to go to. They truly care about their patients and have always been kind and professional.
